How about North American Jeep Compass? Will it switch to STLA One?

Rumor says that the new Dodge GLH and Chrysler Airflow will be produced at Belvidere. Those two are based on STLA One. Will Jeep Compass joined the?

Besides STLA M doesn't offer a mechanical AWD which is very important for US marker but also a unique selling point for Jeep brand in South America.

We know that the Jeep Renegade should be based on STLA One in Europe and is slated to be one of the first four STLA One based cars in Europe.

Will Brazil keep Small Wide for Jeep Renegade, Compass and Commander or will they switch to STLA One?

Mix of STLA One and STLA M at the same factory doesn't sound viable to me.

La Compass brasiliana arriverà solo nel 2028, e lo stesso vale per quella americana. È possibile che abbiano fatto qualcosa di più che semplicemente provare un 4x4 sulla piattaforma STLA Medium e abbiano deciso di trasferire direttamente il design dell'attuale Compass sulla piattaforma STLA ONE.

 

In questo modo, anche i nuovi Commander, Renegade, Toro e Rampage, che arriveranno in seguito, saranno basati sulla piattaforma STLA ONE.

 

Renault ha già assemblato la Duster su diverse piattaforme.

 

La piattaforma STLA ONE sarebbe in grado di supportare il Toro e il Rampage (un rivale del Maverick)?

While I agree that STLA One will replace STLA Medium in the long term, M doesn't have to die in it's current form. There should be some evolution ahead for launches until 2027/2028 and later MCAs.

That new Alfa Tonale comes on Medium and "new Giulietta" on One indicates that the Tonale project is pretty far along and launching rather soon. I hope Tonale launches with 1.6 HEV. Might also have faster charging, with or without 800V.

While the STLA One variant for multi-energy, C segment SUVs or industrial installation (in the same plant) takes some time. Remember that it starts with B segment BEV only in 2027.

Comunque, da possessore di Giulietta, spero che la nuova Giulietta su STLA One mantenga il multilink dietro e che non sia un ricarrozzamento della futura 308, ma che mantenga una sua identità.

I know that the next gen Jeep Compass for North America will be on STLA One. That's certainty.

The same for the European Jeep Renegade.

All other is pure speculation based on some indication.

STLA most likely will not be upgraded. Why would it be?

And that's the potential problem for any car on it especially for North American market including next generation Tonale.

2.0 turbo engine and mechanical AWD are still a must there especially for a premium product which Alfa still is.

AFAIK "Giulietta" or Alfa C-SUV could be related to a future Peugeot C-SUV slotted below 3008.

Peugeot Low C segment models will be a replacement for 308 and 308 SW. Such model isn't planned planned for Alfa Romeo.

I would argue that such model is a perfect for for Fiat's lineup to directly replace Fiat Tipo and to be produced by Tofas.

How do you know about Compass? Yesterday you were only speculating.

What is STLA? The cars on STLA Medium have to get updated to stay competitive. Even under Tavares cars got updated with new engines, transmissions, infotainment, e-tech, batteries etc during their lifespan. BTW in contrast to many former FCA models …

Is there any proof or trustworthy source about connections between STLA Small/One and CMP? If so, how much? The battery as a structural part of the construction is a huge difference already …
