The Next Chapter Of Fine Driving.

The new Bovensiepen 05 GT — the latest creation from the Buchloe-based automobile manufacturer — unites sophisticated engineering with timeless design, capturing the art of Fine Driving in every detail and giving rise to a Gran Turismo of truly unique automotive character.

Renowned automotive designer Frank Stephenson created the new Bovensiepen design language for the 05 GT. Fine Driving is about the fusion of outstanding design with a powerful powertrain and precise handling, combined with exceptional driving and interior comfort. At the Buchloe facility, automotive dreams are brought to life by hand with great dedication, appealing particularly to automotive enthusiasts. Design – Frank Stephenson

The exterior design bears the signature of designer Frank Stephenson, a leading figure in contemporary automotive design. A name inextricably linked to automotive icons such as the first BMW X5 and the relaunch of the modern MINI Cooper at the turn of the millennium. Some of the world’s most renowned sports car manufacturers, including Ferrari, Maserati, and McLaren, have already relied on Stephenson’s design expertise.

"Together with Stephenson’s team, we have undergone an exceptionally intensive development process - from sketches to working directly with the designers on the vehicle in Buchloe. Only there the subtle nuances in proportion, surface, and lines can truly be discovered - and even felt! Our high standards for technological precision and handcrafted finesse become tangible precisely in such development processes; they shape the character of the Bovensiepen 05 GT", says Andreas Bovensiepen.

A striking design element runs along the entire lower section of the body: the wraparound design line connects the front bumper, side skirts, and rear section into a harmonious whole. As with the wraparound design line of the Bovensiepen Zagato, the eye is guided around the entire vehicle to discover every detail of this automotive work of art. The colour of the design line can be selected to match the exterior paint.

A fundamental component of the new Bovensiepen design language is the powerful front end, featuring a laser-cut, high-quality stainless steel grille and large air intakes that reveal the Bovensiepen 05 GT’s kinship with the Zagato.

At the rear, the Akrapovič titanium exhaust system with four oval tailpipes in typical Bovensiepen design, highlights the high performance potential of the Bovensiepen 05 GT.

The horizontal design line on the side skirts elongates the side view, resulting in a visually lower, sportier appearance when combined with the wide front and rear sections.

Engineering "Born and Made in Buchloe"

In the Bovensiepen philosophy, harmony is understood holistically - it unites design and engineering into a single entity.

The wheels are far more than just a functional element: they are an integral part of the Bovensiepen design language and an expression of profound engineering artistry. The Bovensiepen 05 GT is equipped all around with 21“ lightweight forged wheels that radiate a commitment to perfection through their symmetrical design. Twenty milled spokes ensure weight savings and thus lightweight wheels, demonstrating Bovensiepen’s technological expertise. The ten elongated double spokes create a distinctive visual depth. The colour scheme is freely selectable; for example, a newly developed satin aluminium finish is available as standard. Both the brake callipers featuring the Bovensiepen logo and the wheels can be finished in numerous paint options to match the car’s colour and the surrounding design line.

A defining feature of the Fine Driving experience is the specially developed Pirelli tires, which offer the best handling and comfort characteristics. The custom-made tires can be identified by the BOV marking on the tire sidewalls. The finely tuned suspension, featuring modified support bearings, Eibach springs, and a special strut tower brace, delivers precise, sporty handling while still providing the highest level of ride comfort, even for rear-seat passengers.

The front apron design follows the „form follows function“ principle and ensures the necessary airflow for intake and cooling air. An optimized air intake with a special intake funnel, along with a generously dimensioned Akrapovič exhaust system, allows the engine to "breathe" more easily. Both create the conditions for optimizing the engine software - validated by extensive testing in the summer and winter as well as at top speed proving grounds such as Papenburg and Nardò. The result is a system output of 589 kW (800 hp), which, combined with a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm, ensures a particularly confident driving experience.*

The lightweight titanium exhaust system, developed in collaboration with renowned technology partner Akrapovič, produces an emotionally engaging, bass-heavy sound and saves 7.8 kg in weight.

Manufacturing

Inside, the high standards of the Fine Driving philosophy are evident in every detail. In keeping with the tradition of small-batch production, each vehicle bears a numbered production plate - an unmistakable commitment to uniqueness.

The handcrafted Lavalina® steering wheel with high-quality milled aluminium shift paddles sets new standards in feel and appearance at the driver’s most central point of contact.

All other physical contact points in the cockpit - the seat panels, the trim around the cupholder unit and the iDrive controller - are upholstered in the finest leather as standard. In keeping with the extensive customization options, all these elements can be ordered in a freely selectable contrast colour. The trim panels in the seatbacks can be painted in any desired colour at no extra charge; the insert itself is covered in leather and bears the model designation 05 GT.

In this way, the modern interior creates a warm atmosphere that invites you to travel in comfort and style.

Those who place the highest value on luxury and exclusivity will choose one of our full-leather interiors from Bovensiepen - crafted from the renowned Lavalina® leather, which is considered by connoisseurs to be the highest quality in the entire automotive industry.

Lavalina® is a barrel-dyed cowhide suede of the absolute luxury class that combines all the benefits of natural leather: a finest feel, exceptional suppleness, and a look that gains even more character over the years. The raw material comes exclusively from carefully selected farms in southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and northern Italy - origin as a promise of quality.

In this context, one can confidently speak of interior compositions, as there are virtually no limits to the customer’s design options: from the choice of leather and stitching colours to the extent of the leather trim. Every Bovensiepen 05 GT can thus become a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle - the customer’s very own dream car.

Market Launch

Delivery of the first customer vehicles is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

A parte questa considerazione, comunque, sarà molto interessante vedere se manterrano il tipico equilibrio delle vecchie Alpina tra comfort e prestazioni, fossi ricco mi intrigherebbe moltissimo.
