Il nuovo Freelander sarà ben più pretenzioso dell'attuale, si posizionerà come diretto concorrente della X3. Questa roba potrebbe essere un'anticipazione del telaio space frame che starebbero studiando per un'ipotetica sostituzione della Defender.
