[h=2]Could have 300 bhp (224 kW)[/h]Seat has been showing sign off life after years of dormancy and a new report is indicating the company is considering a high-performance Leon Cupra R.

Based on the upcoming Leon Cupra, the model is expected to feature a "subtle" body kit, a sport-tuned suspension and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. The car could also have a revised interior with sport seats and special trim.

Power will reportedly be provided by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 300 bhp (224 kW). It would be connected to a dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive system. This could enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately five seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The Cupra R could also be equipped with launch control and a special Cupra mode that promises to deliver a sportier driving experience.

The model is currently being evaluated and sources suggest the company is considering both three- and five-door variants.

A mio avviso la Leon3 è la Seat più bella e meglio fatta della storia.

Spettacolo con i "gemelli" dietro, speriamo che i definitivi siano così.

Una cosa che non mi fa impazzire della Leon è la parte nera in plastica presente nei paraurti della FR che imho poteva essere fatta meglio oppure si poteva adottare la soluzione già vista su Ibiza ovvero paraurti verniciato ed estrattori d'aria sotto in plastica nera che davano un effetto migliore.
