Ecco la nuova berlina sportiva elettrica, nata come nuovo progetto autonomo di Fisker. L'autonomia sarà superiore alle 400 miglia (643 km). In termini di velocità massima, invece, il contachilometri dovrebbe sfiorare i 260 km/h.

Fisker has dropped the first official details and images of its all-new electric sedan dubbed the EMotion.

Henrik Fisker's reborn company has come up with an edgy design for its first model, aided by a newly developed electric powertrain, which has allowed the company to push the interior compartment forward, thus reducing front and rear overhangs without compromising interior space.

The automaker also says that the EMotion will be built around a frame made from carbon fiber and aluminum, which, if true, would allow the sedan to shed huge amounts of weight, something particularly important for notoriously heavy electric vehicles. 

The bold claims don't stop there. Fisker says the car's batteries will use lightweight graphene in their construction and be built by a joint venture between Fisker and Nanotech Energy Inc. The batteries will apparently be advanced enough to power the EMotion for some 400 miles (643 km) and onto a 161 mph (259 km/h) top speed.

Last, but not least, Fisker asserts that the EMotion will utilize an advanced autonomous driving system currently being developed by an unnamed supplier.

A public debut for the model has been tentatively set for the middle of next year. U.S. production is also being promised.

Frontale e laterale non centrano nulla l'uno con l'altro. Sui prezzi si sa già qualche cosa in ordine di grandezza?

 

PS un po OT: voi che ne pensate della Fisker Karma? Ho visto che i prezzi dell'usato qui in cioccolandia sono quasi "abbordabili" per una vettura che nuova costava oltre 100K testoni.
