Harbin Hafei Automobile introduced its first saloon-type vehicle at the Auto China 2004 exhibition in Beijing last week.

The car which is called Saibao (roughly translates to competing leopard) was designed by Pininfgarina, just as Hafei's earlier Zhongyi minivan and Lobo (Lubao) minicar.

It is powered by a 1.6 or a 2.0-liter Mitsubishi engine, passing EUR 3 regulations. The car reportedly tested on European test tracks and several crash tests were also carried out.

The car which is 4395 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2600 mm boasting roomy interior with adjustable front seats.

The Saibao may come to Europe around 2006

Che diamine è??? ...per essere Cinese non è malvagia, forse perchè ha un non so che di già visto...ma...e quel logo sul frontale??? Si sono accorti che somiglia al logo Subaru??? Ci sono delle stelle in meno, molte in meno, ma a me è proprio il logo della casa Giapponese che viene in mente...

Se ai cinesi piacciono macchine come questa Saibao perche non portare su questo mercato oltre che la Thesis anche la Lybra?
