Sembrava non dovesse arrivare mai e invece Multivan, generazione T7, debutta oggi su piattaforma MQB.

Porta una rivoluzione in gamma imponendosi come modello a sé stante, lasciando il T6 a ricoprire il ruolo di Transporter finché non arriverà il nuovo van creato in collaborazione con Ford: Multivan sarà soltanto disponibile quindi in variante passeggeri e ricoprirà anche il ruolo assegnato sino a poco tempo fa a Sharan.

Volkswagen propone due varianti, un passo corto da 4,97m (passo 3,12m) ed un passo lungo da 5,17m totali; la larghezza si attesta sul metro e 94 cm e l'altezza sta sul metro e novanta.

 

Una delle principali novità è sicuramente l' e-Hybrid, variante plug-in, dotata del 1.4 TSI + motore elettrico da 85 kW per un totale di 218 cv e cambio shift-by-wire; saranno disponibili anche due benzina (1.5 TSI e 2.0 TSI) ed un diesel 2.0 TDI da 150 cv in arrivo il prossimo anno.

 

I sedili sono più leggeri di ben 25kg rispetto al T6 e la seconda fila può ruotare di 180 gradi mentre la terza si evolve da panca a sedili singoli removibili. Altra novità: il tavolinetto che scorre sui binari da una fila all'altra può essere anche reso consolle centrale tra i sedili anteriori!

Di serie i fari a LED su tutti gli allestimenti, optional la tecnologia IQ.Light; inoltre tra gli optionals troviamo ricarica wireless per i telefoni, HUD, Digital Cockpit, tetto apribile panoramico, impianto audio Harman-Kardon da 14 altoparlanti e 640 W ed infine il pack di ADAS  IQ.Drive Travel Assist.

completely redesigned Multivan onto the market. The technological leap
forward is revolutionary. The Multivan’s drive system and electronics
systems are for the first time based on the components of the Modular
Transverse Matrix (MQB). By using this matrix, Volkswagen Commercial
Vehicles has opened up a new spectrum of technical innovations for the
vehicle. Never before was a Multivan as flexible, connected or sustainable.
Included for the first time in the drive system range is a plug-in hybrid: the
Multivan eHybrid operates as a zero-emission vehicle in the city, while at
the same time coping easily with long journeys to the most distant of

systems also increase safety and ease of control and for the first time
facilitate partly automated driving. The best Multivan ever is transferring a

Non gradisco né l'arancione, né il rosso ma a parte questo trovo abbastanza riuscito questo nuovo T7 sia dentro che fuori (anche se vorrei vederlo in altre nuances).

 

Vedo un volersi avvicinare alle fortunate proposte di PSA, in quanto ad impostazione, ragion per cui ho aspettative altissime.

Ma che è sta giapponesata?!?

Non mi piace la griglia a nido d'ape che si era già vista su Caddy, e i fanali posteriori sanno di Giappone primi anni 2000

per me il Multivan è sinonimo di Westfalia con tendalino e tetto a soffietto.

E questo T7 lo vedo troppo "monovolume" per fregiarsi di tale distinzione.

Tutto perche e fatto su MQB. 

Credo che sia il primo modello ad usare la piattaforma MQB A2 evo.
Quello della prossima Passat B9.
