The 4xe four-wheel drive version follows in 2024. Like its Renegade and Compass 4xe siblings, the Avenger will package an electric motor at the rear to turn the wheels.

The CMP2 platform stows batteries in the floor and boot of the 51kWh electric version (see naked chassis above), but the pack will be slimmed down by around 80% for the hybrid, freeing up space for that e-motor.

Jeep claims that 4xe delivers the brand’s trademark off-road prowess, and insiders say that even if the front wheels have zero grip on a 20˚ incline, the electric-powered rear axle will be able to comfortably accelerate up and out of trouble.

Still no word on which petrol engine will spin the front wheels. The Compass and Renegade 4xe use a Fiat 1.3-litre (also shared with the Alfa Tonale plug-in hybrid), but the CMP platform’s stalwart engine is the 1.2-litre PureTech petrol. Despite the 4×4 credentials, Jeep will also emphasise the Avenger’s environmental credentials, with an estimated 30 miles of pure electric range.

My 2 cents: For Jeep, it may seem logical to opt for PHEV rather than BEV for its top model, in order to give to the car better off-road capability. So, I don't think that this article is contradicting the rumors of a BEV Kid Q and a BEV Abarth 600e

Alla fine mi sono perso dove questa la fanno. Dato il motore 1.2 d'origine PSA, è possibile che sia una sorella(stra) della 2008/Mokka/eccetera?

It is based on the CMP platform (208, Corsa, 2008, Mokka, C4, DS3). It has the same wheelbase with Mokka and DS3. The Avenger will soon have 2 sister models, made in Tychy: FIAT 600 and Alfa Romeo something

La Avenger sarà prodotta in Brasile, però solo con motori termici (Fiat) e sistema "ibrido" stile Panda. La versione elettrica sarà importata dall'europa. 

Stellantis ha gia adattato la fabbrica ex PSA a nello stato di Rio de Janeiro per produrre la piattaforma CMP, con cui fanno la nuova C3 per Latam e India, quindi è una possibilità. 

La Avenger ha un'enorne potenziale in Brasile, dove Renegade, Compass e Commander vendono come il pane, ed il marchio Jeep gode di un'immagine molto buona.

Una Jeep compatta e molto riuscita farà numeri e profitti notevoli.

L'unica cosa che devono fare è adattare motore e cambio della Pulse  e Uconnect, che in Brasile è uno dei  migliori e più evoluti infotainment del mercato, 2 spanne sopra il software che hanno 208 e 2008 elettriche che vengono dall'Europa. 

Quindi Avenger + 1.0 Turbo + CVT Aisin + Uconnect è la ricetta per il successo assoluto in Brasile.

Mi chiedo che prezzi abbiano le Jeep brasiliane per vendere tanto in un mercato/stato così povero.
