The Mercedes SLR 722 will be the base for the model which will be limited to a production run of 75 cars, the roof will be completely removed and will feature a small low rising windscreen. The roofless SLR will lose about 440punds off the SLR's kerb weight resulting in the fasteest top-speed of any SLR of 217mph and it can accelerate from 0-186mph in 26 seconds.

The model is unlikely to pass the strict safety guidelines for Europe or America due to the lack of a roof leading us to believe it will only be sold in the middle-east where the warmer climate will suit the speedster.

Concordo in pieno: ho appena guardato il video ed è una pantomima allucinante, con tanto di vedo-non vedo dietro alla verde fronda e uno stuolo di inquadrature perfette di tutte le fasi della prova. :lol:

la mercedes in collaborazione con Mclaren sta per realizzare una derivata della slr in versione barchetta!!!!:D
