La mini MPV orientale mantiene l'architettura originale con la disposizione del motore anteriore insieme al sistema di controllo e alla gestione della potenza. Le batterie sono invece disposte posteriormente, nella zona del pianale sotto il vano di carico e sono del tipo a Litio-Polimeri da 24 kWh e possono essere ricaricate in otto ore, mentre con una ricarica rapida si arriva all'80% in 20 minuti.

Il motore elettrico ha invece una potenza di 80 kW ed eroga una coppia massima di 280 Nm, sufficienti per assicurare alla Venga EV prestazioni brillanti, con una velocità massima di 140 km/h ed un’accelerazione da 0 a 100 km/h di 11,8 secondi.
