Non credo che i motori E6 siano su quelle Punto. 500 e 500L in realtà non hanno mai smesso di girare, ne hanno un piazzale pieno (almeno 50 vetture) che girano tutti i giorni tutto il giorno.

More than 12,000 Jeep Cherokees have been built so far, but Chrysler hasn't delivered any of them because of some software problems related to the nine-speed automatic gearbox.

The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is turning out to be a huge problem for Chrysler because aside from its heavily criticized front fascia, the crossover has issues with the ZF-developed nine-speed automatic transmission.

Initially, the car was supposed to enter production phase in May, but it was delayed until June and after that postponed until September. Production eventually started but we are in mid-October and Chrysler hasn't delivered any cars and they haven't provided an exact market release date even though 12,000+ units have been already built.

The gearbox problem has to do with its incapability of adapting to the driver's style and as a result the shift quality is not very good. Auto expert Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics LLP says Jeep wants "the transmission to be just smooth as silk, and this is apparently not the case at all."

Once the problem will be sorted out, those 12,000+ cars will receive suitable software updates and then sent to their rightful owners who we assume are growing impatient.

La produzione (non la vendita) doveva iniziare a Maggio ed era stata post-posta (già a inizio primavera) di un paio di mesi.

La vendita era comunque prevista dal 3° trimestre.

Quanto al problema della messa a punto del software, sembrerebbe essere stato trovato il firmware adatto e gli esemplari prodotti dovrebbero essere attualmente sottoposti a aggiornamento prima della consegna ai concessionari.

Noto per la prima volta dal video il copritesta del motore 2.4L con il logo MULTIAIR. (Anche questi dettagli possono denotare un certo -buon- tipo di lavoro)
