Meccanicamente eccellente, ma esteticamente orrenda, ed e' un peccato.

Il 4L 2.3 litri brucia liquido lubrificante

Cita

The 2.3-liter engine burns coolant, not just air and gasoline.

Ford recently admitted early examples of the Focus RS suffer from an engine problem. The turbocharged 2.3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder develops an issue over time that causes it to burn coolant, not just air and gasoline, when the block and the outside temperature are cold. Burning coolant produces a white puff of smoke from the exhaust, which is normally a tell-tale sign of a head gasket failure. Owners also report the turbo four misfires before it warms up. Ford hasn't found the precise cause of the problem, or at least it hasn't publicly identified it. British magazine Autocar learned the company "is working on a repair for all customers."

The publication adds Ford has already replaced several engines, presumably in England. Brand-new engines going into 2018 models shouldn't suffer from the problem because they're built to different specifications, according to the same report. Ford might not have found a fix for cars in customer hands yet, but it has seemingly figured out how to solve the problem on the assembly line.

Writing on enthusiast forums, owners speculate the problem stems from the block changing shape as it warms up and cools down during normal operation. In turn, this means the head gasket can't seal the engine block to the head, letting coolant seep into the cylinders and causing the aforementioned problems.

Interestingly, the Mustang -- which uses the same basic 2.3-liter engine -- isn't affected by the problem. Autocar explains that's because Ford builds the Focus RS' four-cylinder with an upgraded alloy and installs a specific head gasket.

Come fa ad avere la stessa targa su due vetture differenti??????

E' una copia per esigenze di scena ;), la targa della blu è già passata sulla rossa dato che la prima sarà presto venduta.
