la macchina è stata assemblata da Mazda USA sul telaio della C65 che ha corso in ALMS fino al 2006 compreso

il motore è stato riconvertito a bioetanolo (facilissimo dato che con pochissime modifiche un motore rotativo può andare a benzina,etanolo o idrogeno addirittura)

diciamo che la macchina è stata fatta per ribadire l'impegno di Mazda nelle Le Mans Series....speriamo anche da noi
