So many folks seem disappointed that this isn't a reincarnated XJ. That was never realistic; Jeep is making a mint off the Wrangler, and an XJ would have cannibalized the Unlimited. It wasn't in the cards.

The last few small Jeeps were not competitive in their class. That class has the CR-V, Rav-4, Escape, Rogue, Santa Fe Sport, Equinox, Sportage, Tiguan, etc. Most of them are bland, none have any off road chops, most are 4 cyl. only, several have crummy CVT's, etc. Nevertheless, this class is moving huge volumes.

Compared to those (mostly awful) things, this offers a modicum of off road ability, a pentastar 6, a 9 speed transmission, and an entry into Jeep ownership, and its made in the USA. When the husband wants a Wrangler and the wife wants a Rav-4, this is the compromise in the middle. They are going to sell a ton of these.

si ha qualche ipotesi di quando sarà offerta qui da noi? Per l'anno prossimo un pensiero più che serio ce lo faccio per sto cherokee.

Se dalle prime immagini ufficiali non mi piaceva proprio.. Ora azzarderei quasi l'ipostesi che in grigio o nero potrebbe andare...

Se c'è un'auto che va vista assolutamente su strada per capire..Per me è questa!
