La Hyundai Genesis Coupè potrebbe montare un propulsore V8 e sfidare Ford Mustang e le altre muscle car americane. La notizia giunge in occasione del rinnovo della motorizzazione per la Genesis berlina, che sarà dotata di un nuovo V8 5 litri da 429 Cv con cambio automatico ad 8 rapporti. Con un motore del genere, la coupè farebbe un deciso balzo in avanti quanto a prestazioni, rispetto all’attuale V6 3,8 litri da 306 Cv e potrebbe sfidare ad armi pari molte sportive Americane ed Europee.

Proprio il debutto Europeo della Genesis coupè, ormai confermato per la fine del 2010, rende questa notizia particolarmente interessante: tra qualche anno potremmo immaginare anche in Europa un confronto della sportiva coreana contro la Chevrolet Camaro, ormai pronta al debutto europeo e la Ford Mustang, attesa in Europa dopo il lancio della nuova generazione nel 2013.
