Il fatto che esista a listino è di per se stessa la dimostrazione che crede o almeno ha creduto nel modello, visto che Viper era stata cancellata durante il fallimento e non doveva ritornare.

All'atto pratico però i numeri di vendita sono rimasti bassi. Molto bassi in effetti.

Se hanno messo in cantiere un intervento sul motore simile a quello che ha portato alla Challenger Hellcat (tripudio di interesse mediatico) allora significa che ci credono ancora, Marchionne per primo. E per Viper ci sono possibilità di nuovo balzo d'immagine e vendite.

Se non è previsto un V10 sovralimentato in tempi brevi, allora è probabile che abbiano accantonato il modello e che Viper vada di nuovo in soffitta.

They took three of America’s favorite sportscars, wrapped them like crazy and asked three gorgeous models to drive them at this year’s Gumball 3000 rally. We knew the glossy event was all about outshining the others competitors with your automobile, but to add beautiful models to that it's just not fair play.

Nevertheless, the Gumball 3000 is not like all the other regular rallies; it’s not an actual competition, where the best drivers race each other to the finish line. In fact, if it has anything related to a real racing competition that has to be the endurance factor. Because, let’s face it, driving for 3000 miles (more or less) is quite a challenge for any driver, no matter how skilled he/she is.

On the other hand, when Maximillion Cooper founded this international motor rally he thought of it as to a place that involves the most eccentric people with great enthusiasm for autos. It was though as a high-end fun club, where members praise their mechanics for the great tuning job they’ve done, brag about their 1st world problems and party like real rich men do.

And what is the most important thing next to good looking vehicles you need for such an event to stay alive for 16 years? Beautiful women, of course. You can have the best DJs in the world throwing the craziest parties if you lack fashion models there is no party. Anyway, this has to be the reason they also asked the upscale clothing brand and retailer to get three of their best models to participate in this year’s rally.

Dear autoevolution people, meet Guess supermodels Simone Holtznagel, Danielle Knudson and Natalie Pack. Young, American fashion beauties that are about to blow your minds as they drive these tuned up sportscars. Are you ready?
