Le Porsche 911 prodotte dal 2016 al 2017 potrebbero non esser conformi agli standard di emissione per le quali sono state omologate.

Per il momento Porsche dichiara che la problematica non è connessa alla ECU del motore e non inficia la sicurezza della vettura.

Il tutto sarebbe riconducibile ad un errato calcolo aerodinamico.

FRANKFURT -- Porsche said it had informed German authorities of potential issues with its emissions data, following a report in Germany's Der Spiegel news magazine that the figures for its 911 models of 2016 and 2017 were inaccurate.

"Porsche has identified issues in connection with individual roll-out tests," Porsche said in a statement on Thursday.

The specific case involves deviations in the measurement of wind resistance values and the corresponding information reported to regulators, the company said.

"The company is continuing its internal investigations in close consultation with the authorities," Porsche said, adding that the problem is not related to engine management software and does not affect vehicle safety.

Cioè? Come influisce un errato calcolo aerodinamico sulle emissioni? Sono rilevamenti fatti in laboratorio con le vecchie procedure e andavano ricalcolati aggiungendovi la resistenza del vento (mia ipotesi, magari è una cavolata)? E in ogni caso, questi rilevamenti non sono fatti da organismi statali? Come hanno fatto a non accorgersi di un errore?
