Back in October I received a few preview shots of a "in production" GT9 which got us all drewling in the office, but we could offer you no information back than. Today, EVO Magazine brings us the story. The GT9 will sport a 910+ hp (9ff hopes for 950) 4.2L flat-six engine which is expected to hit the 409kph (254mph), 1,5kph more than the Veyron.

At the moment the car is beign assembled at their factory in Dortmund, Germany and should be finished before the annual Auto Motor und Sport top speed day at Nardo, where they hope to dethrone the Veyron (or possibly the SSC Ultimate Aero TT by that time). Two GT9's have already been sold, if you want the third, shell out 400.000 Euro

Per chi è più tecnico di me: la sosp. anteriore (visibile nella 2a foto) cos'è? Il McP? Su un'auto da 400 Km/h?

Porsche mi lascia sempre perplesso su certi dettagli, anche se poi i risultai non sono mai trascurabili.

Almeno sembra che il motore non sarà posteriore a sbalzo, ma centrale-posteriore.

Ma avevano nostalgia della mitica GT1? Questa comunque, sarebbe addirittura più potente...azz, 900CV siamo a livelli di Formula Uno

Per me avrà il motore posteriore...e magari un telaietto di supporto in tubi. A questo punto gli conveniva usare la Cayman come base.

Quella che all’apparenza sembra una normalissima Porsche tunizzata è invece un vero e proprio missile terra-terra, in grado di fare concorrenza a sua maestà, la Bugatti Veyron.

Preparata dai ragazzi della 9ff, questa GT9 è equipaggiata con un portentoso 6 cilindri boxer da 4.2 litri di cilindrata in grado di sviluppare tra i 900 e i 950 cavalli (!!!). Il suo obiettivo è quello di superare in un test organizzato sul circuito di Nardò dalla rivista Auto Moto und Sport i 409 km/h, primato attualmente detenuto dalla super-car Bugatti.

Nel caso vi fosse venuta voglia di acquistarne una, la cifra da scrivere sull’assegno è di 400.000 euro. Se siete veramente interessati all’acquisto, vi consiglio di affrettarvi: nel caso riuscisse nell’impresa, il prezzo potrebbe anche lievitare.

E' più efficace di quella 911....

E' vero; sono stati fatti dei test su cayman col 3.8 della 911s (come col sempilce 3.6...) ed i risultati sono stati imbarazzanti per la 911.
