Spero pure in questa e spero che non la appesantiscano come meccanica. Poca roba molto veloce e molto divertente, ci vuole.

Questa è bellissima ragazzi..... perché farla nera? Nere sono le auto in cui si vuole nascondere la linea e questa è uno spettacolo.... anche intruzzita!

Tra questa...la 500 Zagato e la 4C.....che finalmente dopo anni di concept cassapanche soppalcate abusivamente si stia assistendo a un ritorno in auge delle coupè per tutti? Speriamo...

guarda, pensavo la stessa cosa anch'io. in effetti, se avessi voluto pensare a una coupè/spider divertente e a portata di mano economicamente parlando, fino ad ora la scelta era obbligata: Mx-5. avevo persino sperato in Cr-z, ma a leggere le prove mi è solo rimasto l'amaro in bocca. con questa Toyota-Subaru le cose in effetti cambiano...

NB: notare che queste nuove coupè "per tutti" o sono giapponesi, segno che quindi vogliono tornare a dire la loro in un segmento dove in passato hanno detto e anche tanto, oppure italiane, che guarda caso sono stati tra i primi a teorizzare (e a portare al successo) questo tipo di vetture...in Germania invece tutto tace

Nel concept la coda mi sembrava più lunga, comunque mi piace.

segnalo un video promozionale "girato" nell'engine di Gran Turismo 5. Nel caso non fossi l'unico che si interessa a queste cose

Driver feedback from early development tests is one of the main factors behind the redesign of Toyota’s FT-86, which appeared in its closer-to-production form at the Geneva show.

The FT-86 II’s restyle keeps the original concept’s basic silhouette but lifts the nose, a move forced by pedestrian impact regulations. However, the biggest change is to the A-pillars, which have been moved back by around 100mm at the base, resulting in a more upright windscreen. It also gets a remodelled rear end, and LEDs in a new front bumper that draws heavily on 2007’s FT-HS concept.

Akihiro Nagaya, the manager of Toyota’s design division, told Autocar that the changes had been made after test drivers’ reaction to early prototypes of the car, which uses a floorpan and flat-four engine developed in conjunction with Subaru.

“We had feedback from drivers who felt that the angle of the A-pillars created a type of ‘tunnel vision’,” he said. “This could sometimes make the car hard to place on the road, particularly at higher speeds. The theory behind this car remains that of the ‘86’ [the original Corolla AE-86], which was easy and pure to drive, so we had to change it.”

Nagaya said the Geneva car was “a fair indication” of how the final production model could look when it arrives at the Tokyo show in December. “You could say it’s around 50 per cent there,” he said, “although that could be as high as 70 per cent.”

He also confirmed that the Toyota will share more than just mechanicals with the Subaru; the two cars will look very similar, too. He said the approach would be along the lines of Subaru’s Trezia, which is a Toyota Verso-S with redesigned grille and lights.

Alcuni cambiamenti stilistici riscontrati sulla concept presentata a Ginevra (muso piu' alto e montante A arretrato) riflettono le norme sull'investimento pedoni ed il feedback da parte dei primi test drivers che riportavano problemi di visibilita' (credo...)

Dal comunicato italiano...

Subaru ha sviluppato il nuovissimo motore boxer a cilindri orizzontali contrapposti, Toyota ha aggiunto la sua tecnologia D-4S (l’iniezione diretta combinata a quella indiretta). Il risultato di questa sinergia è un aumento dei cavalli e della coppia, e l’ottimizzazione dei consumi e delle perfomance ambientali.
