se potessi dire la mia, la vorrei v8 MHEV.... ma andrebbe bene anche plug in.

Naturalmente nulla contro la versione elettrica, ma speriamo che ci piazzino sotto anche l'S63 che montano sulla LR...anche se mi sa che il telaio è BEV only.

Però, ragazzi, devo dire una cosa, e non è la prima volta che scrivo questa cosa: entrare in una discussione su un veicolo BEV e leggere mille messaggi sul disappunto perché invece dovrebbe fare brum brum, è davvero snervante.

Sono il primo a dire che i commenti altrui non vanno commentati, e che ciascuno è libero di dire la sua, e quindi mi scuso se sembra che stia contestando i pareri altrui, ma non è questa la mia intenzione.

Non contesto il parere in sé, ma solo il reiterare la stessa tiritera sterile; sterile perché non modifica la realtà dei fatti, diventando solo uno spreco di tempo per chi legge.

Convincetevene: se ormai una strada è stata presa, per un modello, è inutile e "scassante" continuare a lamentarsene e ipotizzare motori che non ci saranno mai.

Ben venga se poi arriveranno, ma non è questo il punto.

Credo di aver scritto qualcosa del genere quando uscì la R5, e forse l'ho tenuto per me in altre occasioni, quando è stato presentato qualcosa di bello* ma con la tecnologia ritenuta "sbagliata".

Dài, facciamocene una ragione e andiamo avanti con la nostra vita.

Gaydon, UK – 12 August 2026: Step inside Jaguar Type 01. A dramatic interior that gives every journey a sense of occasion.

A central spine runs the full length of the cabin, accentuating the longitudinal nature of the design and creating four individual spaces – a concept car vision brought to production. The cabin shrinks around the driver with a low seating position that cossets and inspires confidence.

Influenced by the enduring beauty of travertine stone and the rich textures of artisan textiles, Type 01 is a deeply sensorial experience. The brass‑inspired finish on the central spine is repeated along the tops of the doors. Running the entire length of the cabin, these signature art pieces bear the Jaguar leaper.

Strikethrough elements visually merge the bonnet and the slim dashboard, breaking the boundaries between exterior and interior. One coherently crafted form with bold linear graphics. Unmistakably Jaguar.

Infotainment technology is part of the interior architecture, designed to make life easier. Digital interfaces are intelligently applied for control on demand. A digital ClearSight Rear View Display is positioned centrally at the base of the windscreen, at the same height as the door mirrors, to help the driver focus. 

Drama is in every detail. Concealed compartments, hidden‑until‑needed technologies and unexpected moments of colour. A manifestation of Jaguar’s exuberant modernist creative philosophy.

Sicuramente d'impatto, ma a mio avviso non ci siamo.

Io personalmente li trovo spettacolari, sembra quasi una reinterpretazione moderna di quello che pensavano sarebbe stato il futuro fra gli anni 70 e 80. Mi piace il moderno non urlato, minimalista, l'atmosfera di classe ma semplice. È un altro passo avanti rispetto a quello che sta già facendo Volvo ma meno banale. Aspettiamo gli esterni.
