Quando la finiremo di mettere ai vertici gente che guarda solo ai 12-18 mesi, promettendo ricavi pazzeschi che vengono ottenuti facendo tabula rasa della realtà produttiva non sarà mai abbastanza presto.

(ANSA) - BERLINO, 23 GEN - La crisi dell'auto mondiale potrebbe colpire duramente anche Volkswagen che non esclude di chiudere il primo trimestre dell'anno in rosso. In Germania le societa' del settore si preparano ad accorciare la settimana lavorativa per circa 170.000 dipendenti. Il gruppo, che nel primo trimestre 2008 aveva registrato un risultato operativo di 1,3 miliardi di euro, prevede inoltre di chiudere il 2009 con un calo del 10% del fatturato. La Vw ha gia' chiesto aiuti allo Stato.

Despite the repeated calls on coordinating measures at EU level, news on public aid packages for car makers are increasing across Europe: France has announced a 5-6 billion € aid package for automakers retaining jobs in the country, Germany is to provide 1.5 billion € to support its auto industry and a fund of 100 billion euros to provide credit guarantees to struggling businesses, whereas Italy is discussing a possible set of measures after Fiat announcing that 60.000 jobs across the country could be at risk.

§ FIAT: After the alliance with Chrysler LLC (35% stake in exchange for access to technology and overseas markets provided that the US company gets the $3 billion additional loan from the government), the Italian Group is now seeking a possible ally with PSA-Peugeot. According to a first estimate released by the French press, synergies spreading from an all-European deal could be really relevant only in case of a 20% combined workforce reduction (more than 75.000 people). AUTO:MAZDA E MITSUBISHI, ANNO SI CHIUDE IN PROFONDO ROSSO

Prospettive sempre piu' nere per l'industria automobilistica giapponese: Mazda e Mitsubishi prevedono di chiudere in rosso l'esercizio che terminera' il prossimo 31 marzo a causa del crollo della domanda. Mazda, controllata al 13% da Ford, stima una perdita operativa di 25 miliardi di yen a fronte di un utile di 90 miliardi di yen precedentemente previsto. La perdita netta dovrebbe attestarsi a 13 miliardi di yen contro un attivo di 50 miliardi precedentemente stimato. Nel terzo trimestre il quinto colosso dell'auto giapponese ha registrato una perdita operativa di 24,2 miliardi di yen. Mazda ha annunciato piani di riduzione della produzione: costruira' 148 mila veicoli in meno rispetto ai quasi 1,1 milioni che aveva previsto all'inizio dell'anno.

Oramai è un dato consolidato, che in questa discussione è chiarissimo: TUTTI i costruttori mondiali denunciano perdite, più o meno forti, e conseguenti dolorosi tagli.

Notizia di oggi che anche la Fujy Industrie (proprietaria di Subaru), nonostante un 2008 tutt'altro che da buttare (basti pensare a una seppur lieve crescita sul mercato USA), denuncia il primo trimestre in rosso.

Questa deve far riflettere: nonostante buoni numeri, non si riesce a chiudere in attivo: questo mi fà sempre più accrescere il dubbio che, sotto certi oscuri aspetti, questa enorme crisi sia in parte pilotata per qualche oscuro motivo.

Dubito seriamente che ci sia un'oscura regia, tra il mercato drogato con le varie rottamazioni, chilometri-zero e via discorrendo e la crisi finanziaria, generata dai mutui sub-prime ma che, per motivi che non comprendo bene, ha influenzato anche le aziende automobilistiche, gli ingredienti per una crisi automobilistica ci sono tutti. Poi può darsi che le varie industrie del settore abbiano interesse a "farla più nera di quel che è" per ottenere aiuti maggiori dai governi ma dubito che ci sia un'oscura regia dietro a tutto ciò.
