Stowage areas include MyFord Dock in the centre of the instrument panel that enables occupants to store, mount and charge mobile devices such as phones and navigation systems, and front door bins that can each hold a 1.0-litre bottle, a 0.6-litre bottle and a small umbrella. A hidden stowage bin within the end of the instrument panel is only accessible when the driver’s door is open, allowing valuables to be hidden out of sight. Taking inspiration from Ford’s latest design language, the stylish, well-proportioned exterior features the distinctive high-mounted trapezoidal grille with large, swept-back headlamps. All KA+ models offer a smart, integrated finish with chrome detailing for the front grille, together with body-coloured bumpers, door handles and door mirrors. The interior features an attractive grained finish on the instrument panel and hard-wearing, contemporary trim materials in a stylish dark charcoal colour scheme. Distinctive chrome accents are applied in tactile and highly visible areas such as the door release handles, centre console control knobs and air vents. Responsive and economical powertrain The all-new KA+ features a simplified powertrain line-up based on an efficient new 1.2-litre Duratec petrol engine to offer maximum value to European consumers. Available with a choice of 70 PS and 85 PS power outputs, the 1.2-litre engine is derived from the same family as the 1.25-litre engine in the Fiesta, and features twin-independent variable camshaft timing technology to enhance performance, fuel efficiency and emissions. Combined with a standard five-speed manual transmission, the 1.2-litre engine has been tuned to deliver smooth and responsive performance, with a broad spread of torque that makes the car easy and fun to drive in both city motoring and on longer journeys. Fuel efficiency has been enhanced using optimised calibration, low-friction engine oil and regenerative charging, which saves fuel by maintaining efficient charge levels in the vehicle battery by capturing ‘free’ electrical energy when drivers coast or brake. Low rolling resistance tyres and enhanced aerodynamic details, such as an optimised front lower spoiler lip and grille openings, also contribute to improved efficiency. Both engine options achieve CO2 emissions of 114 g/km, with combined fuel consumption of 5.0 l/100 km (56.5 mpg).** An additional 85 PS high-efficiency variant is available in certain markets with a raised final drive ratio and unique calibration to deliver CO2 emissions of 110g/km. Un ulteriore passo indietro rispetto alla progenitrice...pratica sicuramente ma non mi sembra che la Karl di turno piuttosto che la Fox di qualche anno fa abbiano avuto grandi successi con tale politica...

 

Quei cerchi (tozzi) hanno appena fatto in tempo a sparire sull'allestimento Titanium della Fiesta e già recuperano le scorte qui...:muto:

 

Nell'articolo di autoblog.it parlano di superfici compatte ma grintose...:D...

E comunque...la preferisco quasi in versione sedan...il taglio del finestrino posteriore è un invito alla "codetta"...

L'auto in se non è brutta. Certo non un capolavoro e ben lontano dall'essere una Ford vera e propria. È che si ostinano a chimarla con un nome del ca...!! Poi il "plus" è una vera geniata. :-D

Ci stanno brasilizzando, questo mi fa paura!

L'Europa non è più vista come "esigente" in fatto di auto ma povera, quindi importano auto di questo tipo, qualche anno fa improponibili qui.

Sullo stesso piatto metto la karl della Opel ed altre

no Tony, i poracci sono loro! Perché poi qua tentano di venderle a prezzi salati. Non mi pare che l'attuale Micra indiana costi meno della precedente europea

Alla stregua di Tata Indica, Nissan Pixo, Opel Karl, roba del genere.

Dubito che il nome "Ka" basti a farla vendere.

non è che ci stanno brasilizzando e' che stiamo diventando, almeno noi europei del sud (comunque assai numerosi), dei "poveracci". Di conseguenza ai poveracci si da quel che c'è. A quelli del nord, che comunque son 4 gatti in confronto, sono riservate le Tesla eheh

      Ford Australia presenta la Ford Mustang R-Spec. Sappiamo che Ford ha presentato la Mustang Shelby GT 500 da 750 CV equipaggiata con il V8 5.2 litri Predator (derivato dal Coyote ad albero piatto, NdR), ma la guida a sinistra non piace agli abitanti del "Down Under", quindi Ford AU ha sviluppato, partendo dal V8 5.0 litri Coyote sempre equipaggiato con un compressore Eaton da 2.65 litri che pompa con una sovralimentazione di 0.82 bar, ben 720 CV ed 827 Nm di coppia che vengono scaricati al suolo da una trasmissione manuale a 6 rapporti.
      Non sono rilasciati dati ufficiali sulle prestazioni. Dal catalogo Ford Performance sono stati presi ammortizzatori magnetici, molle ribassate (abbassa l'altezza del corpo vettura di 20 millimetri) e barre stabilizzatrici regolabili all'anteriore e posteriore. L'auto è inoltre dotata di cerchi in lega leggera da 19 pollici che calzano pneumatici Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

      Ford Europa non la capisco. Hanno presentato i M.Y. 2019 di Galaxy ed S-Max, ma non sono ancora a listino. Nel frattempo con l'occasione della presentazione dell'allestimento Vignale, fanno anche un M.Y. 2020 ridisegnandoli.
      All'interno, il Galaxy Vignale ha il cruscotto rivestito in pelle e la console centrale con cuciture grigie, volante riscaldato e pedali in alluminio. La S-Max Vignale aggiunge sedili anteriori riscaldati e raffreddati, con regolazione elettrica e funzione di massaggio.
      I modelli Trend e Titanium hanno una griglia superiore cromata lucida e bordi dei fendinebbia, mentre la S-Max ST-Line sfoggia una griglia a nido d'ape unica con bordi neri e bordi dei fendinebbia neri. Le nuove opzioni della ruota completano il look rivisitato, con il set da 18 pollici bicolore, 15 razze disponibile per S-Max e Galaxy Titanium, e il 17 pollici bicolore, 20 raggi disponibile per il Galaxy Titanium.
