Porsche presenta il nuovo Macan GTS che è spinto dal 2.9 V6 TwinTurbo da 280 kW / 381 CV abbinato ad una nuova versione del doppia frizione di Porsche. Il pacchetto riesce a scattare da 0-100 km/h in 4.8 secondi che scendono a 4.6 con l'optional Sport Chrono Package.

Sospensioni sportive - pneumatiche - consentono di abbassare la vettura di 10 mm alle alte velocità. Il sistema frenante è costituito da dischi in acciaio da 360 x36 mm all'anteriore e 330x22 mm al posteriore; come optional si possono scegliere i dischi con rivestimento misto Tungsteno-Carbonio (Porsche Surface Coated Brake- PSCB) da 390 x 38 mm all'asse anteriore e 356 x 28 mm al posteriore, oppure i dischi in carbo-ceramica (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake - PCCB) da 396 x 38 mm all'anteriore e 370 x 30 mm al posteriore.

2020 Porsche Macan GTS Announced 

Atlanta, Georgia. Porsche completes the Macan series with a distinctly sporty model. The new Macan GTS launches with a powerful engine, performance-oriented chassis, characteristic design and enhanced equipment. The 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine delivers 375 hp (280 kW) – an increase of 15 hp compared with the predecessor model – and is combined with the newly adapted PDK dual-clutch transmission. The Macan GTS can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, or to the same speed in 4.5 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package, and on to a top track speed of 162 mph. 

Among other things, the new Porsche compact SUV family has earned the abbreviation GTS, which stands for “Gran Turismo Sport”, due to its outstanding driving dynamics. Adaptive air suspension, which is standard equipment on this model, can lower the chassis by 10 millimeters. Combined with the standard 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels and the generously sized cast iron brakes (360 x 36 millimeters at the front, 330 x 22 millimeters at the rear), the new Macan GTS impresses with the agility and responsiveness of a true sports car. As an option, deceleration can be further improved by means of the Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) with tungsten carbide coating (390 x 38 millimeters at the front, 356 x 28 millimeter at the rear) or the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) measuring 396 x 38 millimeters at the front and 370 x 30 millimeters at the rear. 

Acoustically, the standard Sport Exhaust system specifically adapted to the GTS accentuates the driving pleasure in the new Macan GTS. A 2.9-liter V6 engine is at the heart of the experience. Its central turbo layout, with two turbochargers arranged in the 

inner V of the engine, allows particularly direct responsiveness. The maximum torque of 383 lb-ft (up 14 lb-ft) is available over a wide range from 1,750 to 5,000 rpm. 

Individual design with black accents 

The new Macan GTS also emphasizes its sporty status visually. The standard Sport Design package with new front and rear trim and striking side skirts lends the car a characteristic appearance. The front fascia is characterized by black painted elements – a distinguishing feature of all Porsche GTS models. The LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and the three-dimensional rear lights with LED light bar are also darkened. The LED headlights can be optionally ordered in black with PDLS Plus. The lowered chassis, 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in Satin Black, red brake calipers, and the trim strips in High Gloss Black also emphasize the high-performance appearance. The rear end also gains black accents including a diffuser and the tailpipes of the standard sport exhaust system. 

Sport seats exclusive to the GTS with premium materials 

High-quality materials such as Alcantara® on the seat center panels, the center console armrests and door panels as well as brushed aluminum make it possible to see and feel the sporty and elegant characteristics of the Macan GTS. The multifunction sport steering wheel with the steering wheel rim in smooth leather is standard, as are the sport seats, exclusive to the GTS. The sport seats feature eight-way adjustment and pronounced side bolsters for stable support during dynamic cornering. The optional GTS interior package in leather with Carmine Red or Chalk stitching plus additional Alcantara® features, the BOSE® Surround Sound system, and the new smartphone tray with inductive charging function are among the many personalization options. Park Assist including Surround View, a heated windshield, and ionizer are available as optional equipment to improve comfort. 

The new 2020 model year Macan GTS is expected to arrive at US dealerships in summer 2020. Pricing starts at $71,300 excluding $1,350 for delivery, processing and handling.

Bel prodotto, avrei migliorato i sedili inserendo quelli con il poggiatesta integrato stile 911 o anche Levante Gran Sport e come già scritto tolto i side blade. 
Sono curioso a questo punto di vedere il Levantino come si presenterà e se tengono anche il maserati il V6 ICE magari facendolo passare da 350 cv ai 380/390 cv oppure confermano di passare a L4 PHEV.

Calma.....probabile che ci siano anche ICE, o per lo meno versioni Ibride a mio avviso. Troppo netto il taglio sennò, e troppo rischioso visto l'importanza del modello.

Nella stampa tedesca citano il AD di Porsche in altro senso, prossima Macan secondo loro sara solo Bev come J1/Taycan.

Porsche brings electric mobility to its site in Saxony: The Supervisory Board of Porsche AG has decided to manufacture the next generation of the Macan as a fully electric series. This will be the first all-electric compact SUV from Porsche, and is due to roll off the assembly line at the start of the next decade.

The development represents an expansion of the Porsche range in the field of electromobility: the Taycan – the first purely electrically driven sports car from Porsche – will be launched to market at the end of 2019, followed shortly thereafter by its derivative, the Taycan Cross Turismo.

“Electromobility and Porsche go together perfectly; not just because they share a high-efficiency approach, but especially because of their sporty character,” comments Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche AG. “By 2022 we will be investing more than six billion euros in electric mobility, and by 2025 50% of all new Porsche vehicles could have an electric drive system. Nevertheless, over the next ten years we will focus on a drive mix consisting of even further optimised petrol engines, plug-in hybrid models, and purely electrically operated sports cars. Our aim is to take a pioneering role in technology, and for this reason we will continue to consistently align the company with the mobility of the future.”

The decision to manufacture the next generation of the Macan at the company’s Leipzig site was taken as early as the beginning of July last year. Making this investment in electromobility at the Leipzig site creates the opportunity to produce fully electric vehicles on the existing production line in future. The next generation of the Macan fires the starting pistol for electrification. Like the Taycan, this compact SUV features 800-volt technology and is based on the Porsche PPE architecture (Premium Platform Electric) developed in collaboration with Audi AG – highlighting the future viability of the site and enhancing its flexibility and efficiency even further.

Porsche Leipzig GmbH started series production of the Cayenne SUV in 2002, with 259 employees. Since then, the site has been continually developed to become one of the most advanced and sustainable production facilities in the automotive industry. The Macan model signified a revolution right back in 2011, and is a real success story: when it was launched, the Leipzig plant was expanded into a “full plant”, which included its own body shop and paint shop. When the factory started operations in February 2014, 40,000 units per year of the compact SUV were planned; today it produces more than 90,000 units annually for global markets.

What is currently the final expansion stage was put into operation two years ago, making it possible for the Panamera series to now also be fully manufactured in Leipzig, and bringing employee numbers up to today’s figure of more than 4,000. Since the groundbreaking ceremony in February 2000, Porsche has invested more than 1.3 billion euros in development in Leipzig.

      A meno di un mese e mezzo dalle presentazioni della Porsche Taycan Turbo e Turbo S, arriva il modello 4S.
      La linea di alimentazione resta ad 800V, mentre la batteria è da 79.2 kWh, ma si può installare comunque il Performance Battery Plus da 93.4 kWh. 
      I motori elettrici (2 in totale) accoppiati alla batteria da 79.2 kWh, erogano 530 CV, che salgono a 571 CV se si sceglie il Performance Battery Plus.
      A prescindere dalla batteria scelta, la velocità è autolimitata a 250 km/h, mentre le prestazioni "classiche" di 0-100 km/h vengono bruciate in 3.9 secondi.
      L'autonomia dichiarata per la Taycan 4S è di 450 km (molto meno di 595 km promessi dalla Tesla Model S Long Range).
