> 500x 4.265 a 4.269 (pensate.. avevo l'impressione che il renegade fosse piu lungo e invece e piu corto della 500x!)

 

 

La 500X è più lunga, seppur di poco, perchè ha il posteriore spiovente, mentre quello della cugina Renegade è quasi verticale.

Intanto FCA poco prima di sparire si lancia nello sviluppo delle "auto volanti" siglando una JV con Archer per lo sviluppo e la realizzazione di un veicolo a decollo verticale entro il 2023. FCA si sta già occupando della progettazione degli interni e l'accordo prevede anche la condivisione di componentistica, impianti e competenze ingegneristiche.

January 12, 2021 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Archer and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement to enable Archer to benefit from access to FCA’s low-cost supply chain, advanced composite material capabilities, and engineering and design experience.

California-based Archer is creating the world’s first all-electric airline that moves people throughout the world's cities in a quick, safe, sustainable and cost-effective manner. The new partnership will help accelerate Archer’s timeline in becoming an industry leader with the resources and capabilities to capitalize on the new era of sustainable air mobility, a market that Morgan Stanley estimates will be $1.5 trillion by 2040.
 
Archer will manufacture high-volume, composite, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, with the intent of starting production in 2023. FCA, the parent company of established automobile brands including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep® and Ram, has already collaborated on cockpit design elements of Archer’s first aircraft, which is expected to be unveiled in early 2021. The 100% electric aircraft will be capable of traveling distances of up to 60 miles at 150 mph. Through this announced collaboration, the companies will work together to significantly decrease the cost of production, enabling Archer to bring affordably priced service to customers via its ultra-quiet, high-performance eVTOL aircraft.

di buono potrebbe esserci che in questo momento di grandi cambiamenti in tutto il settore trasporti, potrebbero essere favoriti gli "inventori" piú che i semplici tecnici esecutivi

 

una cosa tipo "vieni avanti, inventore!" ma nel senso buono della faccenda  😀

 

ho appena visto il video della nuova era elettrica di GM (che francamente mi ha stra-esaltato)

 

ecco immagino che fiat non avra fatto manco un decimo del loro investimenti. non so come siano le regole CO2 in US, ma ho la sennsazione che stellantis avra da rincorrere parecchio in ogni caso....

FCA e PSA parlano poco ma agiscono parecchio. Intanto PSA è una delle case con più modelli elettrici in listino. E a prezzi decisamente concorrenziali. Fiat ha fatto quel gioiellino di 500e che pare decisamente azzeccata. PSA sta implementando la nuova piattaforma elettrica c-d. Maserati ha implementato la piattaforma Giorgio elettrificata con cui sta per uscire con diversi modelli. E anche Jeep bel piano ha in programma diversi modelli bev. In più tutte è due hanno diversi phev e stanno implementando il mild Hybrid P2.5
