The CUPRA Raval is the next expression of the brand’s obsession with challenging the limits of automotive design.

From the first glance, the CUPRA Raval stands out with compact proportions, sporty character and performance-driven DNA, designed for urban adventures. Its powerful stance and sharp, defiant lines convey emotion and a sense of difference.

Compact yet commanding, the CUPRA Raval measures 4,046 mm in length, 1,784 mm in width and 1,518 mm in height, with a 2,600 mm wheelbase.

BOLD, HIGH-TECH DESIGN

The front is dominated by a ‘shark nose’ design and sharp lines creating tension, character and muscularity bringing the car to life. With an illuminated CUPRA logo* and Matrix LED headlamps with ceremonies, the CUPRA Raval presents a bold, high-tech look when seen from the front.

Beyond aesthetics, the advanced lights adapt automatically to the driving environment and conditions on the road, providing an extra level of high-tech on every drive.

The car’s shape flows to the sides, where the Raval features hidden flush illuminated door handles enhancing both the minimalist aesthetic and aerodynamic efficiency.

The rear design reinforces the CUPRA’s DNA with a prominent diffuser and 3D light effects. The edge-to-edge back light and rimless illuminated logo visually enhance width, while relocating the reverse and fog projection lights to the lower reflectors allows for a cleaner, more refined rear light signature.

The CUPRA Raval has been designed and developed with particular focus on aerodynamics to ensure best in class efficiency. Building on this principle, the car integrates a fully optimized airflow strategy where components such as the pronounced rear C lines, front air curtains, aero optimized wheels, flush door handles, rear spoiler, and the active grill shutter work together to control flow separation and reduce drag, enabling the Raval to achieve the lowest aerodynamic drag of any CUPRA model, enhancing overall efficiency.

CUSTOMISATION

The CUPRA Raval offers extensive exterior customisation, starting with its alloy wheels, designed to combine emotion, functionality and performance. Drivers can choose from up to eight designs: one 17”, two 18” and up to five 19” options, balancing style and performance.

A complete palette of seven exterior colours, including exclusive matt and iridescent options, invites drivers to express their personality. This is the first CUPRA to feature Plasma Iridescent paint, which shifts through Cyan, Blue and Indigo to Rose Red depending on the light. Distinctive matt finishes such as Manganese and Century Bronze further enhance its bold character.

Personalisation extends to the roof, with a choice of Manhattan Grey or Midnight Black, creating a striking bi-colour effect on selected exterior finishes.

The CUPRA Raval’s exterior design is the next evolution of CUPRA’s radical design language, combining aerodynamic efficiency with bold aesthetics.

DRIVER-CENTERED: INTERIOR DESIGN

The CUPRA Raval’s interior provides a strong synergy between driver and car through immersive lighting, digital integration, physical buttons and controls in the steering wheel, and tactile details, elevating the emotional, driver‑focused spirit that characterises CUPRA. The driver’s elevated cabin position and dynamic sport-forward alignment is an invitation to experience the thrill of driving in a new way.

The suspended centre console frees up valuable storage space, while the intuitive layout ensures easy, confident control. Integrated climate and infotainment interfaces keep the cockpit clean, seamless and ergonomic.

The CUPRA Raval offers a progressive range of interior configurations, each with its own distinctive character. The PULSE interior features sport seats trimmed with fabrics made from 100% recycled material in the central sections of the front and rear lateral seats, combining comfort and durability with a focus on more sustainable material choices.

Stepping up to the IMMERSIVE interior introduces electrically adjustable bucket seats with memory function, upholstered in Dinamica®, made from 73% recycled microfibre in the backrest and headrest areas, delivering enhanced sportiness with a high-end finish. The central sections of rear lateral seats contain fabrics made from 100% recycled material.

The FEEL interior offers an alternative expression of performance, pairing bucket seats with high-quality vegan leather for a bold, contemporary look. The fabrics in head rest parts and central parts of the front seats as well as the central parts of the rear lateral seats contain at least 36% recycled material.

At the top of the range, the AHEAD pack marks a milestone for CUPRA. It introduces CUP Bucket seats with full 3D-knitted upholstery, a unique proposition in the segment. This innovative manufacturing technique knits each seat cover on demand using 100% recycled material, reducing fabric waste while enabling greater freedom in design, personalisation and bold aesthetics. The AHEAD pack is further distinguished by 3D-printed elements in the dashboard, reinforcing CUPRA’s forward-looking approach to design, technology and sustainability.

LIGHTING AS CORE EXPERIENCE

The interior lighting system is designed to be both intelligent and atmospheric, adapting seamlessly to different driving situations and moods. Selectable ambient lighting offers seven selectable environments, with colours and dynamic animations that enhance the overall cabin experience and support the digital displays.

At the heart of the cockpit, Smart Light Next Generation transforms lighting into an intuitive communication layer between car and driver. Integrated into the dashboard, it delivers clear visual feedback linked to driver-assistance systems, such as blind-spot detection, while also responding with distinctive animations during key performance moments, including the e-launch function.

The interior aesthetic is further defined by the Ambient Dash Light, which features a cascade effect and moods to create a fully immersive atmosphere.

Lighting becomes an even more immersive signature through dynamic door projections, a unique feature in the segment. A projector seamlessly integrated into the dashboard casts animated graphics onto the door panels, extending the interior’s light language beyond traditional surfaces.

LARGER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

The all-new integrated instrument cluster with 10.25” Digital Cockpit and 12.9” infotainment system, allows the driver to control all parameters in and around the Raval. With a redesigned steering wheel that features physical buttons as well as satellites buttons for driving modes and regenerative braking paddles, the CUPRA Raval guarantees that the driver is more engaged and connected with the car.

Despite its compact look, the Raval offers a generous 441l boot capacity, providing the versatility needed for weekend adventures, made possible by the car’s rear being free of any high voltage components.

EMOTION. EMPOWERED: ELECTRIFYING PERFORMANCE

The CUPRA Raval is engineered to deliver a dynamic and emotional driving experience that differentiates it from other urban EVs. Built on Volkswagen’s MEB+ platform, the vehicle uses a front-wheel-drive layout and a road-hugging low chassis to maximise agility and deliver the sharp traction and sporty handling that are the hallmarks of the CUPRA brand.

A completely new, highly efficient electric drive reduces complexity, components and weight, optimising both performance and consumption. The result is a car that feels agile, purposeful and ready for real life in the city. At its heart is the latest-generation APP 290 electric motor, paired with the PowerCo unified cell battery integrated flat into the underbody using cell-to-pack technology. By eliminating module housings, this approach reduces weight and space while increasing energy density by around 10 per cent — translating directly into greater range and efficiency.

POWERTRAIN AND CHASSIS

Underneath the CUPRA Raval’s striking exterior lies an advanced performance specified electric powertrain. The CUPRA Raval arrives with a broad range of motor and battery options, designed to meet diverse customer needs, while reinforcing CUPRA’s renowned performance credentials.

Its sport chassis — 15 mm lower than the platform — together with specifically fine‑tuned suspension, a track width widened -10 mm vs. platform, progressive steering that enhances agility, and ESC Sport, gives the CUPRA Raval exceptional handling and a genuinely fun‑to‑drive experience.

CUPRA-specific driving dynamics and setup express the Raval’s sporty DNA. Dynamic Chassis Control uses adaptive shock absorbers with up to 15 levels of adjustment enabling drivers to tailor the suspension from urban comfort to a more performance‑focused setup. In CUPRA mode, the dampers become stiffer, reducing body lean and enhancing dynamic responses.

The CUPRA Raval provides traction and cornering beyond the norm for a vehicle of this category. As the first CUPRA equipped with ‘one box’ electronic braking system – merging the brake servo and ESC modules – the Raval delivers improved pedal feel and braking via engine recovery. In addition, the CUPRA Raval comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes for maximum performance.  

Further enhancing the CUPRA Raval’s performance are features like its One-pedal Driving mode that allows for smooth, intuitive deceleration while recovering energy. By automatically slowing the vehicle through regenerative braking, this system reduces reliance on the brake pedal and allows the Raval to come to a complete stop without physical braking — a major advantage in urban and stop‑and‑go environments.

E‑Launch adds an entirely new emotional layer to the driving experience. Developed exclusively by CUPRA, it delivers a race‑start sensation through a coordinated sequence of immersive lighting, cockpit animation and a dedicated interior sound ceremony, transforming every acceleration from standstill into a thrilling moment. 

The top-of-the-line CUPRA Raval VZ (166kW / 226PS) version takes it even further. Equipped with DCC Sport (Dynamic Chassis Control) suspension with greater rigidity (+5%) to improve handling and roadholding, ESC OFF mode, 19’’ wheels with wider 235mm tyres and the electronic slip differential, it transforms every journey into a unique experience.

Exclusive to the VZ version, the Electronic Slip Differential continuously monitors driving conditions via sensors and manages torque distribution between the wheels to guarantee optimal grip, particularly through tight corners. In addition, sport steering knuckles with increased negative camber and a higher roll center deliver a more reactive, engaging and direct front‑axle response.

Across all versions, the CUPRA Raval’s chassis configuration makes it exceptionally easy and rewarding to drive at pace. Drivers can choose between different lines. Four motor-battery configurations are available:

POWER UP: BATTERY & CHARGING

The CUPRA Raval makes the transition to electric mobility effortless, accompanied by a charging ecosystem that prioritizes speed and versatility.

CUPRA’s simple, plug-and-play Wallbox for fast, reliable home charging provides customers with complete control over home charging.

The 52kWh battery in the Endurance and VZ versions can charge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes using a DC fast charger, while the 37kWh battery version reaches the same level in 23 minutes (Raval Plus, 99kW motor).

Beyond simple charging, the CUPRA Raval serves as a mobile energy hub through its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing drivers to power external devices like laptops or e-bikes directly from the car. This digital-first experience is managed via the MyCUPRA App on your smartphone or directly in the Raval’s navigation system in the infotainment, which integrates smart features such as the e-Route Planner and Plug & Charge functionality for seamless public charging in more than 1,000,000 public charging points across 28 European countries, without the need for physical cards or apps.

Whether charging at home with the CUPRA Charger Pro or utilizing a monthly fee model that provides exclusive discounts, the Raval ensures staying powered up is guaranteed. NEW CUPRA RAVAL VZ: THE BEAST AWAKENS

The new CUPRA Raval VZ is the most powerful and performance-focused version in the line-up. Available from launch, it proves that electrification and performance can combine to offer the ultimate in driving thrills.

The VZ (Veloz) version is the peak of the Raval range, delivering 166kW (226PS), 290Nm of torque and a top speed of 175 km/h and a 0-100km/h in just 6.8 seconds. It is equipped with a 52kWh battery providing a range of around 400km.

Exclusive VZ features include Dinamica®, Bucket seats, DCC Sport suspension with greater rigidity (+5%) to improve handling and roadholding, ESC OFF mode, 19’’ wheels with wider 235mm tyres and the electronic slip differential as well as E-Launch, ensuring that this version remains the most radical interpretation of the urban EV in the CUPRA range.

INFOTAINMENT, DIGITALISATION AND CONVENIENCE

AN IMMERSIVE INFOTAINMENT EXPERIENCE

The interior features a 12.9” infotainment system with a new Android^TM-powered OS and a 10.25” digital cockpit with different views. This screen ensures a visual impact, with its 200 DPI pixel density offering a level of detail well above standard car displays.

FIRST CUPRA WITH ANDROIDTM OS

The CUPRA Raval uses the new Android^TM-powered OS, offering a seamless digital ecosystem with native apps to enhance the user experience and maximise connectivity. The Store provides direct access to many third-party apps from the vehicle's interface. ENHANCED CONNECTIVITY

Connectivity reaches a new level with the My CUPRA app integration, allowing users to manage vehicle functions—from climate presets like ‘Refresh & Warm-up’ to ambient lighting—directly from their smartphone screens.

The CUPRA Raval offers a sound experience that can be taken to the next level through the optional immersive Sennheiser Sound System with AMBEO technology, featuring 12 loudspeakers and 475W. This brand-new setup has been custom-developed and finely tuned for the Raval. NEW DRIVING MODES

SMART ENTRY

The CUPRA Raval delivers a 360° urban daily experience, combining advanced technology, comfort and functionality for modern city life. Seamless connectivity is ensured with 15W wireless phone charging and high-power USB-C ports, including two rear outlets and a total of up to 90W of USB-C charging, split evenly between the front and rear.

Access and security are enhanced through flush door handles, Kessy Advanced, Digital Key and an integrated alarm system, offering everyday convenience and peace of mind.

Interior comfort is elevated with Climatronic dual-zone climate control, an electro-dimming interior rear-view mirror and refined design details throughout the cabin.

Urban driving and parking are effortless thanks to front and rear parking distance control combined with a rear-view camera, delivering maximum visibility and confidence. CONFIDENCE ON EVERY CORNER: SAFETY

The CUPRA Raval is equipped with 7 airbags, including a central airbag to prevent occupant collision during side impacts. Multifunction Interior Camera, monitors driver fatigue, while new Travel Assist and new Emergency Assist provide high-level semi-autonomous support.

The CUPRA Raval is equipped to make urban driving and parking safer and more intuitive. Intelligent Park Assist enables the vehicle to automatically steer into both parallel and perpendicular parking spaces, reducing stress in tight city environments.

Adaptative front seatbelts to adjust the retention to different body typologies, while the Pedal Missed Operation System recognises if the driver has pressed accelerator by mistake, instead of brake, and halts the car if an obstacle is detected.

The car’s safety features extend to post-collision situations, where the Airbag ECU and Event Data Recorder work in tandem to estimate damage severity and automatically initiate a ‘Workshop Call’, streamlining the repair process.

The new Emergency Assist, in case of a driver´s indisposition, activates hazard lights, brakes the car progressively and moves safely to the right lane until stopping or moves the car to the road shoulder if there is enough space, activating emergency call as a last step.

The new Travel Assist not only knows how to circulate in roads with no painted lines but also reacts regulating the speed where other drivers have adjusted it—for example before a speed bump. The system can also react to traffic lights, give way and stop signs.

Furthermore, the CUPRA Raval has been meticulously developed under low-speed urban impacts consideration, featuring deformation elements that minimise damage to reduce insurance costs.

YOUR RAVAL: LAUNCH EDITIONS

The CUPRA Raval will be available in different lines with a variety of customisation options, giving every driver the opportunity to express their own ‘Raval Spirit’ and match their lifestyle. Whether they’re looking for extra power, a larger battery for extended range, or a balanced mix of both, there’s an option tailored to their needs.

During the market entry, three exclusive launch editions will be available, each embodying the essence of the model from a unique perspective. Each Launch edition of the CUPRA Raval has been created to deliver the brand’s DNA:

Dynamic (155kW / 52kWh)

Featuring advanced battery technology, dynamic handling, and a range of around 450km, it offers a more accessible way to experience the brand’s spirit — simplicity that drives emotion.

Dynamic Plus (155kW / 52kWh)

Combining dynamic driving emotions with exceptional comfort and technology, it comes equipped with Advanced ADAS, intelligent parking functions, Matrix LED headlights, bucket seats, and a high-fidelity immersive 12-speaker audio system developed in collaboration with Sennheiser. It also delivers an extended range of around 450km.

VZ Extreme (166kW / 52kWh)

The ultimate expression of performance. Blending uncompromised power with conscious innovation. Every detail is crafted to deliver exhilarating driving dynamics while embracing sustainable materials and technologies. It’s not just the most powerful version; it’s a statement of how performance and responsibility can move forward together, with a range of around 400km.

The CUPRA Raval VZ Extreme comes with a full equipment specification, featuring amongst others: CUP Bucket seats with 3D knitting technology, 19-inch alloy wheels in Sulfur Green with performance tires, and a striking Manganese matt exterior finish.

In addition to the three exclusive launch editions, the CUPRA Raval will be available in four different lines:

• Raval (85 kW) and Raval Plus (99 kW) are equipped with a 37 kWh (net) LFP high-voltage battery, offering smart, reliable performance for everyday urban exploration, with DC fast charging as standard.

• Stepping up, the Endurance (155 kW) and VZ (166 kW) variants feature the new 52 kWh (net) NMC PowerCo unified cell battery, unlocking up to 450 km of range (Endurance) and DC charging speeds of up to 105 kW. More freedom, less waiting — electric mobility without compromise.

The CUPRA Raval will be launched in 2026, with price for the entry-level model (Raval line) from 26,000€*, making this car a true category challenger, opening up electrification to a new audience that craves emotion and distinction.
