Ferrari FXX K already sold out, costs 2.5M EUR

Less than 40 examples will be made

Yesterday we reported all examples of the exclusive Ferrari FXX K have already been sold and now we have a confirmation for that and new details.

Top Gear reports that less than 40 cars will be made and all of them have been sold at a cost of 2.5M EUR (3.09M USD) each. During the 2014 Finali Mondiali event in Abu Dhabi Ferrari's Nicola Boari commented that “clients from all over the world have bought the FXX K” and “starting with next season, you will start to see the FXX K on track”.

Our source also says the track machine had lapped the Fiorano track in Italy in 1:14 min, which is five seconds faster than the standard LaFerrari. “This is not simply a track version of LaFerrari,” explained Boari.

As a reminder, the FXX K has a hybrid system that consists of an 860 HP (633 kW) V12 engine and a 190 HP (140 kW) electric motor. Overall it is 90 kg (198 lbs) lighter than the standard LaFerrari and thanks to a significantly redesigned aerodynamic body it generates 540 kg (1,190 lbs) of downforce at 200 km/h (124 mph).
