I think last year Canada implemented new consumption homologation cycle. I can say it is even more hard than real life driving. For Dart 1.4 Turbo declared city consumption is 8.6 l/100km, however my best real life result was 6.8 l/100 and average is 7.1.

 

P.S. I found this link is interesting, consumption of EV and hybrid cars. For instance BMW i3 with range extender consumes on a highway more fuel than Dart. The driving range of electric cars is ridiculously small. The best of them, Tesla S90D, has 473 km of driving range and requres 12 hours charging cycle. It means that 1300 km trip can last at least 48 hours in the best scenario, instead of 11-13 hours by driving petrolium or diesel vehicle.

Questa dei consumi delle auto elettriche e' clamorosa. Non immaginavo che fossero cosi' messe male

se certe arrampicate sugli specchi le avessimo fatte "noi" avremmo mezza europa a riderci dietro e con fiat già sulla ghigliottina
